Jaco Racing Products
4 time IFMAR World Champions. Dedicated to quality, performance and value. Detail has made Jaco the #1 choice for racers as well as top international race teams.
Jaco uses only the highest quality foam sheets from around the world to produce their tires. Using the "freshest" rubber in their tires to ensure quality and performance, Jaco does not buy "donuts" from other manufacturers since they laminate, cut, true and grade the foam in house. Jaco has total control over the production process.
A Word about Nitro Shoes
Nitro Shoes were designed especially for nitro racing. The compounds provide excellant balance on nitro sedans to maximize performance and minimize wear. 1/8th Nitro Shoes are glued to the rim with special temperature resistant glue and OEM wheels ensure a perfect true fit.
Nitro Shoes are available in front and rear compounds. Even though the durometer may be the same, the rubber is completely different. The durometer numbers reflect relative hardness among similar tires in the same foam family. The differences include cell structure, wear resistance, bite and price. Fronts have less bite but better wear. Rears have much more bite and slightly higher wear.
NEW ** Prism Wheels and Compounds**
Jaco's newest introduction to its line of products are the Prism wheels. These tires come mounted on the all new large diameter wheel. The 1/12th scale tires come already trued to a race-ready diameter. Available in 5 compounds for both front and rear. 1/10th Touring Car wheels are available is 6 compounds. In just a short time, it is already a proven winner.

The hardness of materials is most commonly measured by the Shore Durometer test. This method measures the resistance of foam toward indentation and provides a hardness value. A Shore Durometer is the international standard for measuring the hardness of materials. The symbol for shore coincides with that of degrees. In reference to foam tires, the lower the shore rating, the softer the tire meaning more traction. The higher the shore rating, the firmer the tire meaning less rolling resistance and more speed.
